Tip: many of my apps have a “Contact” or “Feedback” item in Settings that fills in the app and device details for you.

Frequently asked questions

How do I restore my purchases on a new device?

Sign in with the same Apple Account you used to buy, open the app, and tap Restore Purchases (usually in Settings or on the upgrade screen). Purchases are tied to your Apple Account, not to the device.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions, choose the app, then tap Cancel Subscription.

How do I request a refund?

Apple handles all payments and refunds, so I can’t issue refunds myself. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Will my data move to my new iPhone or iPad?

Apps that support iCloud sync keep your data in your own private iCloud account. Sign in with the same Apple Account on the new device and make sure iCloud is turned on for the app in Settings → your name → iCloud.

Apps without iCloud sync keep data only on the device. It moves to a new device when you restore from an iCloud or computer backup.

How do I delete my data?

Deleting the app removes the data stored on your device. Data synced to iCloud can be removed in Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.

Where can I read the privacy policy?

Each app’s privacy policy is linked on its App Store page and inside the app. The App Store page also shows the app’s privacy label.
